When I FEll From Grace words & music-Lenny Solomon

When I was a child, the air
was fresh to breathe
I could do no wrong; I needed
nothing up my sleeve
Still I wondered why, the darkness
filled my space
And what it meant to others, when they fell from grace
I was floating on a dream,
on the blind side of a road
When I fell in between, so many
miles from home
And I wondered why, all hope was erased
When I was
told by others, that I fell from grace
It’s a lonely
season, when we try to understand
And
nothing falls to reason and nothing goes as planned
Nothing
goes as planned
All’s been left behind, I don’t see much ahead
So maybe I should turn; maybe
something else is around the bend
So I stare and I wonder, do I have the faith
To forget about the past,
when I fell from grace
